So is it possible to download form Hotfile premium?

Jul 7, 2010 at 9:36 AM

Hello,

I tried many links and loaded my premium account user and password.

Consistently they fail in Mdownloader (showed as removed) and they succeed through a regular web browser.

What is it gonna be?

I have never tested the application with premium accounts, but I heard that MDownloader can use premium accounts but without simultaneous downloading. MDownloader doesn't use provided user credentials during retriving files' metadata so if it tells you the file doesn't exists it means it does nothing to do with your premium accounts. Could you paste or send me a link which doesn't work?

I get exactly the same issue with my premium account in trying this app for the first time today. I have entered my credentials in the Hotfile section of the options dialog. I've tried using single links, and I've tried using multiple links. I've tried with "Enable download accelerator" turned on and off. In every circumstance all that happens is that the links go to a status of "Removed", yet via a web browser works. Which makes MDowloader unfortunately of no use - any chance someone could have a look into it?

I have the same problem, with any hotfile link.

When I add a link, status will go to "Downloading", Speed will show a number, but Progress will remain at 0 MB. After a while (time depending on the length of the file I try to get), Status will show Removed, and a log entry states "Resource was not fould". "Open Link in Browser" works fine.

I have tried to enter dummy hotfile registration, and the I get a different error, so it should not be the premium account that fails.

I hope you can help - below is the log info from a random file download.

I can't still reproduce the bug, but I will change the algorithm of detecting HotFile's removed files. I hope it will help.

I don't know if you got a chance to change the algorithm in the latest release, but the problem still exists. Below is the log for two attempts - first with a registered account and second with an anonymous account. Is there something I can do to assist you finding the problem? Today, I changed link discovery algorithm again and published an update. I hope it will start working for you.

I tried the new version, but still no luck. The previous error "not found" does not appear, but I get a "resource is busy and was postponed". After a 300 sec delay, it retries with the same error. If there is any debug info I can provide to you I will be happy to help. I will include in next update an command line option to enable save detailed debug info to disk.

Hi - just found out there is a new build (64756) out. Does this include the debug command line switch?
