Incorrectly recognises dead links from

Feb 23, 2010 at 1:12 AM

When I use the "Add Links" window to find and queue links, it reports some links as "Working" and so I then queue them for download. But when MDownloader tries to download those links (which are in fact dead) it keeps postponing the same download for 300 seconds and never downloads anything else from that provider. When I visit one of those links in the browser, displays "The requested file is not found". So far I've been manually checking links in the browser to make sure they're valid before adding them to MDownloader.

Could you paste a link which is incorectly recognised. I have tested faked link and it seems to work fine, but it wasn't a real test.

These are two that exhibited this behaviour:

MDownloader also somehow retrieved a filesize for them as well.

I have more if you need them for testing.

Fixed, and will be released as soon as possible. Your links have been detected via file checker, but status flag (Removed) was ignored.
